Congratulations to our DYSC 2010 Phillip Fiore Sr. $500 Scholarship Winners

jonny_and_joanna

Joanna Coords and Jonathan Diker are Danbury High School graduates and volunteered many hours over the past several years to DYSC.  We thank them and wish them good luck in College.

The intent of this scholarship is to promote continued education while rewarding the recipients for their contribution to our soccer program. Selection of the recipients, by an independent committee, will not be based on their participation in the program as soccer players, but on what they have done to promote the DYSC program as a coach, assistant coach, referee, camp instructor, etc. The scholarship is funded by the Fiore family and friends who made the donation in Mr. Phillip Fiore Sr.’s honor to recognize his outstanding contribution to the youth of Danbury and the game of soccer.

Look here to apply for our 2011 award next March.
